This is the shoreline of Lake Huron near Cheboygan. You can see the large lake, coastal emergent wetlands, and forests. This image demonstrates that edge habitats are found wherever two kinds of habitats meet. There is an edge area between forest and wetland, and an edge between wetland and water.
