Sphyrapicus nuchalis (red-naped sapsucker)
Red-naped Sapsuckers (Sphyrapicus nuchalis) breed in the Ponderosas of Northern Arizona. This male was recorded during breeding season near the top of Oak Creek Canyon, 4/10/99.
