Piranga ludoviciana

This is the Spring song, sung on the breeding grounds - in this case at 7000' (130 m) high on Mingus Mountain, in central Arizona in the Oak & Ponderosa Pine forest. It's rather like one of an American Robin's songs. (Grace's Warbler in the background).
