Cyprinodon diabolis Devils Hole Pupfish

Cyprinodon diabolis spends most of the time feeding on the south end of the limestone shelf. When disturbed, it migrates to the north end of the shelf, retreats to deeper water and then returns back to the shelf to feed again. Cyprinodon diabolis is the largest known inhabitor of Devils Hole, resides at the top of the food chain, and does not have any predators.
